The journey started with the Plus loyalty app; before the first product even went live, we also took on rebuilding the Kapıda e-commerce platform. All apps were then unified under a single superapp, and Plus was integrated into TOM Bank within the same holding — loyalty points became real money at the bank, and millions of users moved into the TOM ecosystem.
Kahve Dünyası
End-to-end build of the Online Mağaza (e-commerce) and Hazır Al (scheduled in-store pickup) platforms; the same system was rebuilt for Altınmarka within the group.
Vodafone
I have been part of Vodafone's mobile ecosystem since 2010. Through the transformation from Self Servis to Yanımda, the app evolved from a single-purpose tariff tracker into a superapp carrying campaigns, loyalty and e-commerce. Spanning the iPad, Windows Phone and BlackBerry eras alongside iOS and Android, this journey has continued uninterrupted for more than fifteen years.

Principles
A common language
I believe success depends, more than anything, on well-built communication. With stakeholders — clients or business units — I sit at the table as a solution partner, not a vendor. I speak a shared language: neither purely technical nor purely business. Trust is earned at that table.
The right questions first
Before starting any work, I clarify the requirements by asking the right questions; I don't run without knowing what I'm running toward. Carrying that clarity to the team is the leader's responsibility: teams that know the goal and the purpose make better decisions and truly own their work.
Architecture built for change
Change is inevitable; quality is determined by how efficiently you manage it. I shape infrastructure for the mid-to-long term, not just today's needs — tomorrow's feature should require evolution, not a rewrite. I treat performance, security and scalability as strictly as functional requirements.
Start simple, evolve
I don't like over-engineering; flexibility does not mean complexity. For a product at the MVP stage, I keep things simple and focus on time-to-market. I have seen many times that real needs diverge from the plan once a system meets real users — so I work iteratively: ship, observe, collect feedback, evolve.
Now
Today I am the CTO of Loodos, and I also serve as CTO of its group companies GMF (electric mobility) and Elaves (screen-free education technology for children).

Emrah Çetiner is a technology leader with more than 25 years of experience. He joined Loodos in 2004 as part of a two-person team and led its technology through its growth into a 160-person, government-certified R&D Center. He designed and shipped superapp architectures for Vodafone, A101 and Fibabanka, reaching more than 50 million downloads in total, and led teams building business-critical applications for brands such as LC Waikiki, Kahve Dünyası and Bosch. He currently serves as CTO of Loodos, GMF and Elaves. He is a graduate of Yıldız Technical University.
